ONE HOT KITCHEN, the play. Previously produced under the title "HELL'S CUISINART."
HELL'S CUISINART'S production at the Samuel Beckett Theatre was selected as the Voice Choice.
"...five perceptive playlets... often surprise with their mystifying aura, their dramatic punch." Tom Kertes, Village Voice
And from the Tamarind Theatre L.A. production:
"You haven’t really seen New York if you haven’t seen it through the eyes of David Caudle’s curious comedy Hell’s Cuisinart. ...a stunning cast of real people who tangle us into their web of cramped spaces, failing relationships, insanity, and goofy visitors.... This is no “Barefoot in the Park,” folks. You will see the layers peel, and it isn’t always pretty."
Michelle Malik, NOHO LA
SYNOPSIS: One Hot Kitchen serves up a five course feast in a Hell's Kitchen walk-up. For starters, a couple fresh from the Midwest, followed by two gay men suddenly free to make it legal, mismatched roommates, a booty call gone bizarrely awry, and a tragic hypochondriac. Some are more seasoned than others, but all are trying desperately to connect.
